I just had the most epic first day of moving to Singapore! I flew all the way from Amsterdam, and let me tell you, that flight felt longer than Gandalf’s beard. But boy, was it worth it!

Getting a Grab ride to my hotel was a breeze, and I have to say, it felt like stepping into a sci-fi movie. The transportation system here is so smooth, it’s like they invented teleportation or something.

And let’s talk about the food! I never thought I’d be able to eat my way through a country in one day, but Singapore proved me wrong. From street food to fancy restaurants, my taste buds went on a wild ride. And the best part? It’s all so affordable! I feel like I hit the jackpot with this culinary paradise.

Now, let’s not forget the jet lag. Trying to adjust to Singapore’s time zone is like trying to dance with two left feet. But you know what? I don’t care! I’m too busy being excited about my new adventure to even feel tired. Who needs sleep when you have a whole new world to explore?

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to relocate to Singapore and pursue my dreams. Being a South African in a new country might be daunting, but I’m ready to take on the challenge. It’s like I’m living in a real-life choose your own adventure book, and every page is filled with possibilities.

So, buckle up, because Saadiq is about to go on a wild ride in Singapore! I can’t wait to see what other surprises this amazing country has in store for me. Here’s to new experiences, new friends, and a whole lot of fun!
